I applied for this company and after two successful interviews, one of the requirements needed from me was to create a complete social media marketing and influencer marketing plan with a fixed budget. They also asked for reasonings on why I took this influencer, and also the conversion funnels per influencers.
Some of the words from the brief was new to me and I thought I was reaching too high in this job application and I actually almost sent a message that I think I am lack too much skills to accomplish the job being asked. I had more than a week to prepare the brief and I tried to do it but I really couldn't understand anything I was trying to do.
Often, I find myself staring at my screen or scrolling through my newsfeeds every time I try to start the project but today I went for it and just opened the necessary apps, wrote down what were the specifics asked from me, and just researched the terms I didn't know or forgot.
I also gave myself an incentive for every slide I finished. I was going to send a flirty message to my boyfriend. (He loves short notes and he gets super giddy from them) AND IT TOTALLY WORKED.
I guess having the right inspiration is a good morale booster, huh? It also helped that the music I was listening to are just some fo the greatest instrumentals created in movie history
Here's the link to the spotify playlist I was listening to. (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6YQWhUwf7o0LHK4XFUhNuP?si=8iQdPMQMSluvJTALMC-tLQ)
So yeah, I think I have to stop doubting my skills and my will to succeed. Slowly trying to get back that side of me. I can't believe I almost quit. If I did, I wouldn't feel this confident. I know my presentation has some flaws, but I'm confident with it. And if I don't get the job, I have gained so many new skills (and a template) from this application.
